About Ardie - 1.5 Year Old Chihuahua
Weighing in at a tiny 2.5kg, Ardie is a sweet active, 1.5 year-old smooth coat pocket rocket Chihuahua. He has a heart full of love awaiting his forever home!
Ardie is still learning how to walk on lead and will be a good little companion for strolls once fully trained. Ardie has been undergoing toilet training in care and he is making progress. He does enjoy a cuddle on the lounge and will interact with his fur siblings.
Ardie has been sleeping in a crate/extendable pen indoors of a night, he doesn’t like being in the bed with you.
Ardie would ideally thrive with another small friendly dog , but he could be an only dog if you are home most of the time as he gets anxiety when left. Ardie is cat friendly, he actually loves his cat foster sister.
Ardie is okay in the car but will benefit having more training and short car trips to build up his confidence.
Ardie is enthusiastic to explore the outside world, so secure fencing with no gaps is a must and a security screen on your front door.
If you're looking for a loving, playful companion who will fill your life with joy, Ardie might be the perfect match for you!
Medical information: Has grade 3 luxating patellas, very common for the chihuahua breed.
