Sawyer's a mix of spicy and sweet, but the spice comes from his single-kitten syndrome (he loves to play, but can get overstimulated easily and be a little bitey – he simply doesn't know his own strength). We think that's probably why he was abandoned by his former family and left to fend for himself on the streets 😔

While in our care, he's come a loooong way – which is why, with the right family, we're sure he'll be able to learn how to be less reactive when overstimulated.

As with most of our street intakes, Sawyer will start off shy with new people and take a little while to settle in. But once he's comfortable with you, his sweetness will really shine through! He'll approach as soon as you enter the room, and chirp at you as his way of requesting pats and play.

‼️ Although he can play a little rough, he's incredibly easy to read – so if you're confident in your reflexes, you'll be totally fine.
