About Gwen
We at Home2Home believe everyone deserves the joy that cat guardianship brings! We love seeing wonderful cats matched with loving adopters, and we don’t want adoption fees to be a barrier to you bringing a loving cat into your heart and home. So if Gwen sounds like the cat for you, we ask you to nominate your adoption fee amount. There is no minimum or maximum amount required, and all adoption fees continue to fund PetRescue’s life-saving programs that support pets and people!
Home2Home is an owner-assisted rehoming service that helps pets transition from one loving home to another
After lovingly raising her kittens and proving herself to be an incredible mum, Gwen is now ready for a home whereshecan be doted on. This confident and adventurous girl has truly earned her time to shine—and she's not shy about it either! With her big, beautiful eyes and fearless charm, Gwen will saunter into your life and your heart with ease. She's looking for a home that celebrates her playful spirit, offers her plenty of love, and ideally includes access to the great outdoors she so enjoys exploring.
Gwen is an absolute social butterfly. Whether you’re a familiar face or someone she’s just met, she’ll happily approach you for pats, purrs, and a good ol’ head scratch. She's currently living with another cat and gets along well—though she might engage in a cheeky chase here and there! She's also made a few feline friends in the neighbourhood and is generally respectful and social with other cats. While she can be a bit wary of kids at first, with time and patience, she’s sure to warm up to them too.
Her days are a delightful mix of cozy naps, zoomies with her spring toys, windowsill surveillance, and following her person around like a little shadow. She’s equally content lounging on a bed as she is trotting through the backyard on a mini adventure. Gwen adores treats, has an expressive, cheeky streak, and isn’t afraid to let you know it’s time for cuddles or a snack—often with her signature “puss in boots” stare that’s impossible to resist.
Gwen would thrive in a loving home with young, active owners who can offer her companionship, stimulation, and the outdoor access she enjoys. She’d be happy to have another feline buddy too, as long as they can keep up with her playful antics. Independent yet affectionate, social yet low-maintenance—Gwen is the perfect blend of sass and snuggles, and she’s ready to bring joy, fun, and love overload to her forever home.

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s guardian—the person who knows them best!
From here, the guardian will be in touch to learn more about you and chat with you about their pet. It’s a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
If your home and lifestyle match the pet's needs, the next step will be arranging a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone is happy to proceed with a formal adoption.
Following the adoption, change of ownership paperwork will be completed, and proof of vaccination, microchipping, and desexing (if applicable, as indicated on the listing) will be provided.
All pets adopted through Home2Home will require an adoption contract to be signed and an adoption fee to be paid. The pet’s guardian will complete the adoption contract with you and provide a link to PetRescue’s secure payment portal for completing the adoption fee payment.
Home2Home currently operates a ‘pay what you choose’ system for cat adoption fees. This means that adopters will be able to choose an adoption fee amount that is suitable for them. All adoption fees are used to support PetRescue's life-saving programs, including Home2Home.
