Don’t be fooled by the name — Iggy may be named after the legendary Iggy Pop, but this little lady is more soft ballad than punk rock riot. Rescued from a park where she and her siblings were scavenging for scraps, Iggy has transformed from a shy, cautious kitten into an affectionate sweetheart who’s discovering just how good the good life can be.
Her favourite pastime? Climbing up onto the bed to curl up beside you for a nap or stretch out for some gentle pats. Iggy is quiet, gentle, and calm — the kind of kitten who doesn’t demand attention but melts your heart when she looks up at you with those soulful eyes. As her confidence grows, so does her sweetness, and it’s clear she’s going to be a truly devoted little companion.
Iggy would thrive in a peaceful, patient home where she can continue her journey of blossoming into the confident, cuddly girl she’s meant to be. She’s the perfect mix of low-key and loving, and once she chooses you, you’ll have a soft little shadow with a purr that soothes the soul.

Adoption details
Adopting with Kittie Kat Rescue Inc.
Bringing a new pet into your home is a long-term commitment—both emotionally and financially. Cats can live 15 to 20 years, so it's essential that all family members are prepared to provide love, shelter, and a safe environment for their lifetime. This includes premium nutrition, regular veterinary care, and ensuring they are kept indoors only or have access to a secure, cat-proof outdoor enclosure.
Our Adoption Process
Initial Contact & Questionnaire
We’ll start by sending you our adoption questionnaire via email or text message. This helps us understand your home environment and what you're looking for in a feline companion.
Video Tour
We will require a video tour of your home, focusing on safety features such as secure screens on windows, doors and balconies. Plus, we’d love to see where your new kitty will be set up in their new home!
Meet & Greet with the Foster Carer
Once your application is complete and approved, we’ll arrange a time for you to meet the cat with their foster carer.
Adoption & Bringing Your Cat Home
In some cases, if your application is approved and the cat has completed all their vet work, they can go home with you straight after the meet and greet! Adoption paperwork will follow.
Settling-In Period & Adoption Finalisation
Every adoption includes a two-week settling-in period from the time of adoption. If, for any reason, your new cat isn’t the right fit for your home, you can return them within this period for a 50% refund of the adoption fee.
All of our cats come microchipped, desexed, with one or more vaccinations, and will be lifetime registered. Depending on their age, kittens may need their second (and potentially third) vaccination undertaken by the adopter after adoption. The transfer of ownership is completed as soon as possible.
