Meet Annie - a shy little sweetheart with a gentle soul and a heart full of potential.

At just over six months old, Annie is still learning to feel safe in the world. She can be easily overwhelmed by new spaces, so she'll need to start off in a small, quiet launch room where she can settle in slowly and gain confidence at her own pace.

Annie will thrive in a calm, predictable environment with plenty of safe spaces-think cardboard boxes, igloos, scratching posts, and shelves or dressers where she can perch or hide. She would do best with patient adopters who understand cat body language and can give her space when needed. Older teens would be a good fit, while younger children may be too much for her right now.

Annie has lived with her siblings and may enjoy having a calm, confident cat friend to help guide her-just make sure any introductions are gradual and respectful.

She loves a cozy spot for naps, gentle cheek scratches once she feels safe, and tasty food shared with someone who's happy to let her lead the way.
