Steve

Steve is a smart, affectionate boy who loves cuddles and massages. He's highly food-motivated and quick to learn, already knowing "sit," "shake," and "down." Steve needs a family where he's included, as he can be anxious when first left on his own. It's best for his new owner to be home to help him settle in and gradually work on alone time.

Steve has had a rough start but is ready for a cozy life on the couch with his new best friend. He's best suited to calm, older children, and we recommend all family members meet him at adoption.

Steve will need to meet other dogs at the time of adoption. He's best with a calm, non-reactive female dog. He's worked through some reactivity and will need further training on walks, including using "find it" games to keep his focus around other dogs. No dog parks or off-leash areas are recommended.
