About Kenny - 14 Week Old Cattle Dog X
Kenny
[ken-ee] • proper noun
Meaning: handsome
Meet Kenny, a sweet, adventurous boy who can’t wait to be your newest best friend!
Kenny is a 14 week old Cattle X weighing in at 6.5kg. He is a confident pup with so much love to give. Kenny loves to wrestle with his two foster sisters and any other dog he meets before snuggling up with them. He has been very well socialised with other puppies and adult dogs, small and large. He is learning to trust people and is very cuddly and loving. Kenny has met cats through a fence and showed positive behaviours.
Kenny is a smart boy who is eager to learn. He will need ongoing training for leash walking and basic commands, and he is mastering toilet training.
Kenny sleeps inside in his crate and would need to be welcomed inside, especially at night. Kenny would thrive in a home where he can be part of the family, included in day-to-day life, and given plenty of mental stimulation, play, and love. Kenny is very curious and loves to taste everything so you must have a puppy proofed home.
Kenny needs secure fencing and a yard that is completely puppy proof! This means no under house access, no soft soil to get out under and no choke hazards lying around.
Kenny finds lots of confidence in other dogs so would be best suited to a home with an adult dog as a teacher, companion, and playmate. If you don’t have another dog to keep him company, then there needs to be someone in the household that doesn’t work full time so he can soak up all the attention to himself.
Kenny’s sister Daphne will also be available for adoption.
