Hi! I'm Ezra,

After a bit of a rough trot in life I am looking to find a home and someone to share all the energy and love I have. I am what you see is what you get and that is a beautiful soul. I am rather a handsome man, with my two-tone coat, quite energetic, calm and quiet and adore kids and love to play. I am an inside-dog and I would not want you to worry though, as I love cuddles and people and other dogs. I am learning basic commands like sit and stay and know my name and am learning what is required when walking on the lead. An extrovert by nature, I travel in the car without complaint, although a sleepy passenger and am not one for digging or barking. I am not a problem at night and eat what is put in front of me. I love tug of war, chewing on toys and salads and fruit! I am motivated by food. Want to know more about how you teach a pup to be a great dog? I’d like to do training every day so that I learn the commands of sit, stay, come, down, no, stop and leave it. And once I’ve learnt them, I need to keep practicing them every day too. That way I’ll learn to obey what you tell me to do. Being consistent and clear with your boundaries will mean I always know the right way to behave. Getting out to exercise at least once a day (and twice for working dog breeds) is vital to stimulate my brain and body. It creates important opportunities for me to meet strangers, other dogs and other animals, plus it tires me out! Tell me “no” if I’m chewing something I shouldn’t and give me a chew toy instead. I’d love to have a range of chew toys that you can swap around so I don’t get bored with them.

 

I CAN FLY TO PERTH!

Flying for a few hours is very important for animals in remote locations, because it gives us the opportunity to be adopted. Talk to SAFE about flying me to you in Perth.
