About Baxter
Are you keen to welcome a super happy, energetic, and affectionate little legend into your life? Look no further than Baxter, a real fluffy teddy bear who's ready to find his forever home!
This little champion is always up for a good time. Whether he's tearing around with his toys, chasing after his canine mates, or just getting amongst whatever's happening, Baxter's a busy bee. But when the fun winds down, you'll find him happily curled up at your feet, ready for some well-deserved snuggles.
Baxter's a smart cookie too – he’s confident and always keen for a pat and cuddle. He's a good sleeper, settling down quietly in his crate at night. He's also doing really well with his lead training and learning to travel in the car. Plus, he sits patiently for his dinner and his toilet training is almost tip-top!
He's been introduced to chickens through a fence and couldn't care less, so that's a good sign! While he hasn't met kids or cats in foster care, he's young enough to learn. Just a heads-up though, he might be a bit too boisterous for really little kids unless they're super dog-savvy.
Baxter's ideal family will understand the needs of his breed, be keen to continue his training, and provide him with heaps of mental and physical stimulation. He'd absolutely love a doggy pal to romp around with and needs a home where someone's usually around.
Bring this delightful little teddy bear into your home, and you'll be rewarded with a lifetime of belly laughs, loyalty, and oodles of affection. What do you reckon? Is Baxter the one for you?
Baxter is located in VIC.

You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa.
