About Harlen
Meet Harlen, a sweet and chucklesome pup whose sunny face and joyful spirit will melt your heart the moment you meet him. At around eight months old and just over 20kg, he’s a healthy, strong young Bull Mastiff with a medium energy level and a personality that lights up every room. Harlen has a wonderful way of brightening your day with his expressive head tilts, enthusiastic “doggy talk,” and his eager enjoyment of life.
He gets along beautifully with dogs of all shapes and sizes, and he plays happily and fairly with his foster siblings, even the household alpha. He loves affection from his humans and is always ready for cuddles at the end of a big day. Harlen is toilet and crate trained, walks himself into his crate for meals and bedtime, and sleeps soundly through the night. He’s also well behaved at dog parks and off-lead areas, showing impressively good recall for a pup his age.
Harlen sometimes shows a “flighty” curiosity around new people, darting forward and back until he feels safe enough to be touched, but he wins plenty of admirers wherever he goes. He enjoys playing chasey, tug, and fetch, and he’ll give anything a go—felted balls are his absolute favourite. He’s also a water-lover who will happily swim out to fetch a ball or stick for as long as you’re willing to throw it. Around the pool he’ll race the splashes with happy barks, and he’s just as delighted at the beach or creek.
He travels well in the car, is child and cat friendly, and walks nicely on lead. Harlen has a great appetite for food and for life, and he expresses his joy at mealtimes by chatting excitedly as his dinner is prepared.
This fantastic young dog would make a wonderful addition to an individual, couple, or family who can offer an active, loving home. Harlen would thrive with a canine companion to share his adventures, and he’s ready to bring his bright, affectionate, humorous spirit into his forever family
