About Emma
Emma has had a tough start to life, spending her early years as an outside-only dog used for breeding, with very little human connection. She came into care terrified, but with patience and love in foster care, Emma has made incredible progress and is now ready for a home of her own.
Emma is a gentle, affectionate girl who wants nothing more than to be a devoted companion. She loves being inside, curling up on the couch, and finally enjoying the comforts she missed out on. She can be nervous with new people and handling at first, but with time and kindness she shows her soft, cuddly side.
Emma enjoys walks and is gradually gaining confidence in new places and around other dogs. She's still learning that the world is safe, so she needs patient adopters who will help her continue building trust.
Emma's ideal home:
- A quiet household
- Adults or gentle teenage kids
- No other dogs
- Can live with cats
- A family who will include her as a mostly inside dog
Emma has come so far and is ready to give her heart to a family who will love and cherish her. If you think she could be the one for you, we'd love to hear from you-please tell us a bit about yourself and the home you can offer when you apply.
