About Charlie - 4 Month Old Kelpie X
Do you have a vacancy on your lap? A hand dying to pat a bestie for life? We have just the guy for you!
Meet Charlie! This boy has been the easiest going foster pup his carers have had the pleasure of looking after. He is a life lover! He is just searching for someone to share it with. He is a cuddly wiggly Charlie Bear who loves his crate, toys and exploring the yard.
Charlie is a 4-month-old Kelpie cross. He is smart, keen to please and in true Kelpie style he'd make a loyal companion so please only apply if you plan on returning the same love. This boy is well on his way to being toilet trained, crate trained and following basic commands and he has made our job as a foster family very easy! He gets along great with the family dog. Charlie hasn't been socialised outside of our backyard and the backyard of the family before us. So, this would be a priority once he is vaccinated enough to be out and about. Puppies take commitment so please make yourself familiar with their needs; the 333 and be sure you're up for the task. He will need someone home more often than not to start with and while another doggy friend to show Charlie the ropes would be a bonus it's also not essential, he does love being the centre of the attention.
He currently lives with kids and he is beautiful with them and lets them hug him as much a physically possible, children over 10 years old would be good just to give Charlie the best possible start. Kelpie are energetic and smart so he will need exercise, stimulating and ongoing training to keep him continuously get the gold stars he deserves!
He really is the bestest boy!! His forever family would truly be the luckiest to have him. Saying bye to this boy will be bitter sweet.
His adoption fee is $800, which includes his desexing when he is old enough. He has had 1 vaccination, treated for fleas, ticks and worms and is microchipped.
He is located in Newcastle area, NSW. Since he is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. He'll need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when 6 months old.
