About Brussels and Sprout

Looking for double the love, purrs, and cuddles? Look no further! Meet Brussels, a gentle and affectionate mama cat, and her adorable kitten Sprout. This sweet mother-daughter pair are inseparable, and they’re ready to bring joy and love to their forever home - together!
Brussels is a calm and nurturing girl with a big heart and an even bigger appetite for snuggles (and treats!). She’s incredibly gentle, loves head scratches, and will happily curl up beside you for a cosy nap.
Sprout, her curious and playful kitten, follows mum everywhere - learning the ropes, exploring the world, and zooming around with bursts of kitten energy. She’s cheeky, cuddly, and full of personality. Keen bakers beware - she's been known to sneak onto the kitchen counter and tuck into fresh-out-of-the-oven banana bread before her foster humans could stop her. We fear that no baked goods are safe!
These two share a beautiful bond - they groom each other, nap together, and bring out the best in one another. Their affection is contagious, and their purring is non-stop!
Like all Maggie's pets, Brussels and Sprout are microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

OUR IDEAL HOME: Sweet, funny and affectionate, and deeply bonded, we're looking for someone who'll love us both for who we are: a wise, loving mum and her joyful, mischievous little shadow!
We'll flourish in a calm, loving home where we have the space to play and the freedom to relax. A household with a few comfy hidey-holes, a sunny windowsill or two, and someone around often to offer chin scratches and treats would be purrfect :)
OUR ENERGY LEVEL: Brussels: Medium energy. She’s mostly laid-back, content to lounge and supervise Sprout’s antics, but she’ll have occasional bursts of play when a feather toy flutters her way.
Sprout: She’s a little whirlwind of fun, always on a mission - whether it’s chasing her tail, pouncing on invisible foes, or climbing furniture with Olympic skill! Then she’ll crash beside her mum and purr herself to sleep.
Together, they balance each other out beautifully - Brussels’ calm presence is grounding, while Sprout’s zest for life keeps things lively.
OUR SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Brussels is a relaxed girl who would be fine with children. Brussels can be unsure around loud noises and tends to retreat so an adults or older children home would suit best.
OUR SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: We've only known each other, so it's hard to say how we'd fare with other pets.

Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
