About Adler
Introducing Adler!
Adler is a Domestic Short Hair born approx 25th November 2024.
Adler was brought into the facility with his injured mum and 3 siblings. Unfortunately he wasn't microchipped and no owner came looking for them.
Since being at the facility, Adler has been one of the quieter of his siblings, however he has recently started to come out of his shell. He's started to show interest in wanting to play with toys, which is a huge step forward for him. He's also now actively coming up to staff & volunteers for treats and affection.
Now that Adler & Delilah are the only cats left in their enclosure, we have seen their bond grow dramatically. Adler finds comfort while in her company, often rubbing up against her & booping heads. We would love for this pair to be adopted together, however we understand this isn't always possible. To help aid in rehoming these two as a bonded pair, we are offering a discounted adoption fee of $100 each, instead of our usual $315 each, which is a saving of $430.
If Adler is adopted separately, we feel he would be best suited to a home with an existing feline for companionship.
Adler can still be timid when meeting new people, but he doesn't take too long to warm up to you. He will need a patient owner who is willing to continue with his socialising. Because of this we are recommending a home with no small children as they may be a bit too overwhelming for him.
Adler will be rehomed to a family who will keep him as an inside cat only.
Adler is litter trained and would make a wonderful addition to most families.
If you think you could be that furever family for Adler, please contact our friendly staff via email at ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com or 0499 900 272 to organise a meet and greet.
Their adoption fee is $200 & this includes desexing, vaccination and lifetime registration. He is also regularly treated for fleas and worms.
Adler is currently located in East Maitland.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
