About Moose
*In foster care in Wolli Creek, Sydney*
Moose is fascinated by the big wide world - constantly exploring his surroundings and making up grand adventures for him and his brother Din to embark on. Watch out for that black-and-white creature in the mirror, though - he's not sure about him at all!
In a strange coincidence, Moose is also black-and-white, with a cute two-tone moustache, and even cuter black-and-white eye whiskers. But it's his white armpit hairs that are possibly his cutest feature of all. We'll let you decide!
Moose's favourite toys are his scratching mat and especially his treasured feather wand. After a big play session he enjoys napping on your body, where you can enjoy his sweet little meow and soft purr up-close :)
You can follow Moose's foster journey on his carer's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/freyasfosters?igsh=Z3cxa2RjcDdjNnM0
Like all Maggie's pets, Moose is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will be with a special someone (or someones) who'll spend time bonding with me through interactive playtime and couch snuggles. I'm a bit of a lap cat, so I'd make a great WFH buddy - I'll even make on-camera guest appearances for a small fee of yummy treats!
Kids who understand my playful kitten energy are cool with me, and I love to sit on their laps for cuddles too. A home with another nice cat would be amazing - maybe even my brother Din? Here's his profile if you'd like to consider taking us home together: https://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/1116680
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Playing with toys and zooming around are my jam - but so's sleeping. I'm a pretty typical kitten really!
If you feel like a laugh, watch me when I come face-to-face with a mirror. What I see there is very worrisome, making me puff out my fur and get into a fight stance. Sometimes I bump into the glass if I'm feeling especially feisty, but I never seem to get 'him'!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: The kids I've met so far have been awesome, and very respectful of my needs! I think I'd enjoy living with cat-loving children of at least school age (5+).
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: A home with a feline playmate (especially if it was my brother Din) would be a dream come true!
Though I'm unfamiliar with dogs, I might be OK with one who's gentle and friendly.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
