Meet Cassie

My name is Cassandra but you can call me Cass. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I’m finally ready for my forever home. I’ve been in care for a long time, even before I came to Ginger Ninja Rescue this year.

I really really love cats but I was so scared of people. A nice lady took me in and forced me to hang out with her in her home office everyday. At first I was confused but then I realised how much I liked crashing Zoom calls. The more time I listened to her voice fill with anxiety as she interacted with other humans I realised she (and other humans) wasn’t so bad. In fact, she gave the best scratches.
I am still very shy, so I would need a quiet, understanding home - no kids or dogs. As I said, I love cats, so a house with some other friendly cats would be ideal. I absolutely loveeeeee pats when I’m in my safe zones (my cosy beds) but will take time to warm up.
