Lena is lucky to be alive after she was found completely paralysed, terrified and alone following a debilitating snake bite. She came into foster care following a vet stay and initially needed help to eat, move, toilet and clean herself. This determined girl defied all odds and has not only made a full recovery, but had an extra special surprise of 3 beautiful healthy kittens born in foster care.

She is a strong, smart, sensitive, and independent girl who mostly keeps to herself, preferring to watch activities rather than get involved. She is shy and takes a long time to warm up to people. She can be spicy if approached too quickly by someone new. She is a true beauty with a petite stature, a beautiful silky grey coat, and perfect white socks. She is extremely clean, quiet and well behaved.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
Lena would likely not be a good fit for a house with tiny humans as she prefers a quiet and calm life.

Lena enjoys the company of other cats and has been especially affectionate and tolerant of kittens.

It’s unsure how she would be with a dog.

Likes / Dislikes
Lena has simple needs, all she wants is peace, safety and places to stretch out for long naps. She loves little hidey holes or cosy spots.

She loves her biscuits but isn’t too fussed on wet food or treats, she does enjoy tuna occasionally.

She dislikes anything too loud or fast. She dislikes when her space is invaded or she feels trapped.

My PURR-fect home would be a loving and patient home. I am still wary of humans and I’m slowly learning to trust them. I am making good progress but would need a quiet, calm, stress free home with a person/people who are gentle and willing to be patient and work with me to gain my trust until I realise that I’m truly safe.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.
