About Maggie
Hi my name is Maggie and I’m a 11 week old Golden Retriever.
I came into the rescue with a suspected Heart murmur.
I’ve seen the vet and went to see a cardiologist. He gave me the all clear and a huge bill😳!
It is common knowledge in the dog world that some puppies can be born with a heart murmur (flutter) and as they grow it disappears. And that’s what has happened with me.
So I have had a clean bill of health to find my forever home.
I’m in foster care and my foster mum has been taking great care of me. She has been toilet training me. I sleep in her ensuite where I can see her.
I’m on a great diet of Royal canine.
My perfect home would be someone that is around a little, while I’m still a baby so I’m not on my own for long periods. Another dog would be great, but not too old as I do like to play. I don’t want to be an outside dog while I’m a baby and even when I’m older I’d like to be part of the family.
Everyone tells me how special Golden Retrievers are and we do loose abit of hair.
I’m a gentle reserved puppy but can still get up to mischief.

Adoption details
We shortlist and contact families who may fit the dogs needs. If indications are positive, normally after sleeping on it, a home check is organised, then an adoption agreement is completed, adoption donation (variable on account of age and health of individual dog) is transferred and the dog will become part of your family.
All our dogs have had a consultation with our vet, are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and treated for fleas. As we want every dog to be in its own family we try and fit dogs into forever homes, we don’t offer “Trials”. Naturally unforeseen circumstances arise occasionally where it’s preferable dogs come back to us as per our adoption agreement.
