Meet Ichabod – a Slinky Malinky with a Smooshy Side

Ichabod is a black smoke heart-throb with striking black point markings – he might look like a Siamese, but this handsome lad is all domestic short hair, all personality.

Found starving on a farm, Ichabod came into SACR care looking like a shadow of his future self. Since then, he’s gained over a kilo in weight (and confidence!) – though he still maintains that sleek, slinky frame no matter how many pouches he tries to sweet-talk you into opening. Yes, he will ask for six serves of wet food a day. No, he does not need six serves of wet food a day. Resist the purrs. Stay strong.

Ichabod is a smooshy, purry boy who’s happiest stretched out on a soft bed in a patch of sun. He adores attention and will twine around your legs like a furry scarf while you're walking, just to remind you he exists and that it may (or may not) be food time.

He gets on with most cats, though he does occasionally throw a bit of side-eye and sass when he feels like it. He’s fine with the calm old dog in the home, and tolerates the intense love of a 4-year-old human like the seasoned gentleman he is.

He’s also got a particular side – he’s pedantic about his litter trays. You’ll need two, kept clean and scooped daily (twice if you want to stay in his good books). He’s house-trained and has excellent manners – just don’t test his patience with a dirty tray.

Ichabod is a low-key legend with a high-purr personality – the perfect match for a household who appreciates a bit of feline flair, food-related drama, and chilled companionship.
