Mieka and Loki

Loki and Mieka’s story began in a quiet Sydney park, where they survived together after their colony and even their own family were rescued, one by one. Mieka was eventually taken in with her kittens, only to end up in the pound, terrified and overwhelmed. She failed the behaviour assessment as the stress was too much for gentle soul. All she needed was love and patience, so the rescuer took her back.

Loki remained behind, loyal and alone, until a miracle reunited them. Thanks to kind-hearted community members and SAFE being able to offer a space, this bonded pair finally has a chance at the life they deserve: one of safety, love and stability.

Mieka is a petite tuxedo beauty with ocean-deep eyes and a quiet grace. She thrives in calm spaces, soaking up sunbeams and showing affection once trust is built. Loki is her playful, curious shadow, a black and white sidekick who loves following his humans, opening doors and offering emotional support with a purr. Together, they are the perfect blend of gentle and goofy. They’re looking for a peaceful, patient home where they can stay together, continue to blossom and finally feel safe.
