About Rocket
Meet Rocket – Your Couch Cuddler, Backyard Sprinter, and Loyal Little Shadow
Rocket is a Miniature Poodle (currently weighing 9kgs).
Rocket has come into care and is now a exbreeder.
Rockets vet work has been completed and he is now ready for his furever home.
Rocket may be small in size, but he has a heart as big as the moon and enough personality to light up a household.
Rockets likes to be with his humans and follow them around have a good cuddle on the couch.
Rocket is toilet trained.
Rock makes himself right at home snuggled beside you on the couch or curled up in bed. Crates are not really his thing, as he is happiest when he is close to his people.
Bursting with playful energy, Rocket adores sprinting around the backyard, chasing balls, and doing joyful zoomies that are guaranteed to make you laugh. While he has his excitable moments, he is generally a quiet little guy and only lets out the occasional bark if something makes him feel a little unsure. His favourite part of the day is running wild in the yard, followed by a well-earned cuddle on the couch.
Rocket is still learning how to socialise with other dogs, but with calm introductions and a bit of time, he has proven that he can build strong friendships. He has formed a sweet bond with a male Chihuahua in foster care and has also been tested with cats, which he handled very well. He is affectionate and gentle with children, making him a wonderful match for families with primary school-aged kids or older.
This sweet boy is low-maintenance and easy to love. Just give him affection, your time, and a safe place to play, and he will be in heaven. He sleeps best near his humans, preferably in your bed if you are open to it, and enjoys lounging in any cosy spot where people are close. He walks well on a lead, enjoys gentle strolls, but really comes to life when he has a secure yard to explore and run in.
Rocket is a sensitive little soul who may be timid at first when entering a new home. With patience, love, and time to build trust at his own pace, he will become the most loyal, cuddly, and affectionate companion you could imagine. He is not just looking for a place to live. He is looking for his forever family and a place where he can truly belong.
If you are ready to open your heart and home to Rocket, be prepared for endless games of fetch, plenty of cuddles, and a curly-haired shadow who will adore you every single day.

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 10 day trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $250) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.

INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption - each bio will state if available for adoption - please check before applying.
