About Iris
Meet Iris!
Iris has spent some time in foster care while she recovered from entropian surgery. She is happy and healthy and now ready for her forever home. Here is what her foster carer had to say about Iris:
At home she's a confident, loving, hungry, snoring, beautiful, couch hog. She's a rock star in the crate and happy for it to be her safe
space. She's a confident puppy pad user and is doing so well at outdoor toileting (not yet 100%).
Iris is great with my dog if not overgenerous with her love. She's working on calm-ish play but it's tough for her to contain all that wonderful energy. She's a giant sweetheart whose youthful enthusiasm yearns for more space or a backyard.
The outside world contains scary things like wheelie bins and cars and joggers. But she's a smarty pants and a willing learner - I've seen her take giant steps even in the short time I've had her. She's become a star on the leash.
In the outside world other dogs can be either extra exciting or a bit scary. Which means she can be vocal at a distance and overexcited on approach. We've mostly been working on confidence and she's come leaps and bounds.
She's a people lover and will often sit and wait for passersby to give her some love - which they do willingly! Plus, she loves flirting with the local tradies on our street!
Iris would be happy sharing a home with other dogs or kids. So, if this sounds perfect- come and meet her today!
