About Bert
Bert’s had a bit of a journey — pulled from pillar to post — but through it all, he’s remained a quiet, sweet-natured boy whose calm presence brings comfort to everyone around him. He may be shy at first, but with a little patience and kindness, he soon comes out of his shell and becomes the most loyal little shadow.
This handsome man adores other dogs and would thrive in a home with a gentle canine buddy. He’s always a perfect gentleman at the groomer or vet — melting hearts with his calm, friendly manners.
Bert’s Wishlist:
• A home with another small, gentle dog for company — this is a must!
• A doggy door so he can come and go when he needs a little “me time”
• A patient, loving family who’ll let him build trust at his own pace
Bert is happiest surrounded by warmth, soft voices, and people who understand that the best bonds take time to grow — but last forever.
He’s been called "too much, too standoffish, too particular.
But really - Bert just needs someone who understands his heart.
After being returned for not interacting with humans, this beautiful boy just needs the peace he’s always searched for - a quiet home, a gentle hand, and someone who sees him not as "too much," but as just right.
Bert’s story reminds us: sometimes, love just needs the right setting to bloom.
🛑BERT WILL ONLY BE REHOMED TO A HOME WITH ANOTHER SMALL GENTLE DOG
*Bert will require regular grooming to keep his beautiful coat looking healthy and free from matting.
