About Lenny
Meet Lenny, the sweet and lovely little chihuahua with a heart full of love and a personality that lights up the room. Lenny may be small in stature, but his gentle nature and easy-going demeanor make him the perfect addition to a family looking for an affectionate companion.
Lenny is known for his delightful zoomies, where he darts around in joyful spurts of energy, bringing smiles to everyone around him. While he initially might be a little shy, he blossoms into a loyal friend once he feels comfortable.
Shortly after joining your family, he will have a bond with you that is truly special. Although Lenny is slightly more reserved than most, that initial timidity quickly melts away, revealing a bright little spirit that loves playtime and cuddles in equal measure.
He has a particular fondness for treats, and he'll be thrilled to join you in all your adventures. With his lovely disposition, Lenny would thrive as a family dog, especially in homes where children are aged five or older.
Lenny is not just a pet; he's a friend for anyone who appreciates an oasis of warmth and companionship in their lives. If you’re searching for a little joy in your day, Lenny is the perfect fit for you.
Medical notes
Lenny has passed his medical
He has Bilateral Carpal Valgus (turning of the feet) which will need to be monitored.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
