About Mia
***WE'RE ALWAYS ON THE LOOKOUT FOR FOSTER CARERS TO HELP US OUT SO IF YOU THINK YOU CAN PROVIDE A TEMPORARY HOME FOR ONE OF OUR BEAUTIFUL CATS PLEASE LET US KNOW. THE MORE CARERS WE HAVE AVAILABLE TO LEND A HAND THE MORE CATS WE CAN HELP REHOME***
This gorgeous little lady is very sweet, very loving, very affectionate and absolutely loves people. She's also very sassy and does not like to share lol.
Mumma Mia and her kittens were found living wild a little while ago by one of our super foster carers who took it upon herself to take them in from the cold and provide them with a better life.
Mia hadn't had a lot of contact with people up until that point but she adapted quickly and bonded very strongly with her new foster mum.
She loves a pat and a scratch, loves a cuddle and wears her foster mum like a ginger and white blanket.
Mia does however guard her foster mums affections jealously and will not let other cats near her, which is why we decided to name her Princess Mia. She really is a sassy little princes who loves deeply but must have things her own way.
We would love to find Mia a home without any other pets so she could rule her own little kingdom and have her humans attention all to herself.
She would be perfectly suited to a retiree or homebody who likes to kick back, watch TV and have a cuddle.
If you're looking to add an insanely affectionate cat to your home then Princess Mia is the cat for you.
Mia is approximately 6 years old and has been desexed, microchipped and vaccinated and is available for adoption right meow.
If you think you have the room in your heart and your home to provide this gorgeous little lady with a great life please let us know and we’ll be more than happy to arrange a time for you to meet and fall in love with her.
Located in Footscray with our amazing foster carers.
To express your interest please send us a message with your details and we will give you a call as soon as we can to discuss.
A little about us:
Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service, run by one passionate individual with the help of friends and volunteers, that is dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them. We take your pets into our amazing cat sanctuary where they're treated with love and affection until the right forever home is found for them.
Urban Feline Australia is not a large company with government resources, a large facility and a lot of staff. Our tiny rescue is a one man operation run from the safety of our own home. We do this for the love of animals and our only agenda is to save as many cats as we can. We rely heavily on cooperation from friends, other rescues, our amazing foster carers and the kindness of strangers to survive. Every cent we receive from donations and adoption fees is used to keep our rescue running and cover the cost of food, water, litter, equipment and vet bills for the animals in our care.
We are doing as much as we can right now but our dream is to one day be able to purchase a larger property or facility that would allow us to be able to save the lives of many more cats in need. Perhaps even open a cat cafe so that we can spread our message to a wider audience.
We have recently created a Go Fund Me towards this end so if you would like to donate towards our cause please follow the below link.
