About Patsy
Introducing Patsy, a mild-mannered dog with a heart of gold. This girl loves people and will follow you around as you go about the house then lie quietly at your feet when you are resting. When invited, she will jump on your lap for a pat and cuddle.
Patsy is a quintessential rescue dog; she recently came into care from a northern pound and she was very thin and desperately in need of care but she shows no signs of her rough start in life and doesn’t have a mean bone in her body.
Miss Patsy loves other dogs, particularly those who will engage in bouts of play, so she will do well with another dog for companionship. She is currently fostered with 2 other dogs, male and female, and gets along well with both of them.
Patsy is a small dog but not tiny; her shoulder height is 40 cm and weighs approximately 9 kilograms. As she is about 12 months old, she won’t get much bigger. She has a lovely chocolate and gold brindle coat with cute patches of white on her neck, feet and the tip of her constantly wagging tail.
Paysy sleeps soundly all night and is not a fussy eater. She loves going for walks and walks gently on a loose lead. She will bark If a stranger approaches the house but stops when instructed. Whoever adopts her will need to continue with her training to ensure Patsy is the best dog possible - this is not difficult as she is clever and very motivated by food.
Patsy is both an inside and outside dog and is not one to be left alone in the yard for long periods; she needs to be included in family life as she is very gregarious and loves pleasing her people. In summary, this little girl is affectionate, loyal, playful and a marvellous companion dog.
