About Bauer
Meet Bauer - Your New Best Friend in a Tall, Lanky Package!
đŸ 14-Month-Old Hound/Kelpie Mix | Male | Dog Social | Family Friendly
Looking for a lovable goofball with the heart of a loyal companion? Look no further than Bauer-a tall, lanky, and incredibly charming 14-month-old Hound/Kelpie mix who's ready to find his forever home.
Recently surrendered through no fault of his own, Bauer is now looking for his second chance-and he's hoping it's with you. This handsome boy has previously lived with young children and is wonderfully social with other dogs. He brings a playful, joyful energy to any space and keeps everyone smiling with his hilarious antics and the comically strange positions he somehow folds his long legs into.
Bauer is a gentle soul. He walks beautifully on lead and absolutely loves his daily strolls. Whether it's outdoor adventures or quiet evenings on the couch, Bauer just wants to be part of the action. In fact, he's known for curling up into the tiniest doggy ball you've ever seen-defying both logic and his lanky frame-just to snuggle in close on movie night.
If you're looking for a clever, affectionate, well-behaved, and endlessly entertaining companion, Bauer is your guy. He's ready to fill your life with love, laughter, and a lot of couch cuddles.
đ Could you be the happy ending Bauer's been waiting for?
Open your heart and home to this tall, quirky sweetheart-you won't regret it.
To book a meet and greet with Bauer please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
