Hi, I’m Zelda!

If you're looking for a loyal, loving sidekick, I might just be your girl. I'm happiest when I'm with my person — I’ll follow you around the house, sit by your side, and keep you company through everything. I just love being close!

I’ve got lots of energy and a big personality. I love going for walks, and my rope toy is my absolute favorite thing in the world (besides you, of course!). I’m still a young dog, and I’m excited to keep learning and experiencing life with someone who will help me feel safe and confident.

I’ll be honest — I need to be your one and only. I get a bit unsure around other dogs, and I haven’t quite figured out how to interact with them yet. My past experiences didn’t give me much chance to learn. Because of that, I might not be the best match for homes with other pets. I also like to chase small animals, so cats and pocket pets are a no-go for me.

New places and people can be a little scary for me at first. When I’m unsure, I like to stick close to someone I trust. Once I feel safe, I warm up and really enjoy affection. I’ve been told I can be a bit boisterous (sometimes I forget how big I am!), so I’d do best in a home with adults or older kids who understand I’m still figuring things out.
