About Bolt (66246)
Bolt is an affectionate and handsome 8-year-old Siberian Husky cross with a lot of love-and a bit of extra padding-to give! He's looking for a forever family who can help him stay active, healthy, and happy in his golden years. Bolt was sadly surrendered through no fault of his own. His previous owner, who originally adopted him from the Lost Dogs Home, suffered a spinal injury and had to move to a smaller home, making it difficult to give Bolt the space and attention he thrives on. Despite the change, Bolt has remained a cheerful and friendly boy, ready to bond with his next family. He's toilet trained, accustomed to being outdoors during the day while his owner was at work, and would happily snooze the night away in a cozy yard or kennel setup-though we're sure he wouldn't say no to the occasional indoor cuddle! Bolt lived as the only pet but has shown he could live with a well-balanced female dog. He's also met children before and could make a wonderful family companion; however, due to his size and excitable nature, we recommend a home with kids aged 10+. While he currently has no diagnosed health issues, Bolt can feel a little stiff after boisterous play-something not uncommon for senior dogs. A balanced diet with low-fat protein, glucosamine, and fish oil will help support his joints and overall well-being. If you're looking for a loyal, fun-loving dog who'll be your shadow in the backyard and your buddy for life, Bolt might just be the one. 🐾 Think Bolt could be your new best friend?
