About Bertie (61354)
Bertie is a fit, small stature Staffy with loads of energy. Bertie has been at our facility before due to poor fencing issues so a secure yard and plenty of owner engagement is a must. Bertie lacks experience with different dog breeds and prefers particular types. This is definitely something that can be managed and remedied. He may enjoy a female like minded dog friend. He has not been tested with cats and recommended he goes to a cat free home. Being a personable boy he may suit robust and respectful children over 10. Although Bertie comes across as being forward and confident he has some slightly nervous moments and needs owner guidance, he has great handler connection (when focused) and could go far with a positive training repertoire. Bertie needs a commitment and patient home to thrive.
