Introducing Sweet Girl Darla - Our Very Long Termer!

This sweet angel girl has been in our car for over 4 whole months! As you can imagine, she is rather eager to get out of here and finally land her perfect family! She's loving, cheeky, and loyal-and she wants nothing more than to be by your side.

Darla hasn't had the easiest start in life. She came into our care as a surrender, as her elderly owners felt they could no longer give her the active life she deserves. But Darla hasn't let that get her down one bit.

She's a crowd favourite here at the shelter. With her sweet personality and spunky side, she's won the hearts of many. She LOVES her treats and while she'll sit like a good girl, she can't help but impatiently tap her little paws in anticipation. It's incredibly cute!

Darla adores her humans and would thrive in a home where someone is around most of the time. A big backyard with room to run would be a dream come true, but any warm and loving home is all this girl really needs.

Like many young Staffies, Darla has her quirks. She still needs a bit of work on her basic manners and can be a little impulsive, think of it as her extended teenage years! But don't worry, our wonderful behaviour team will follow up post-adoption for some additional support to ensure a smooth transition into her new life with you.
