About Casper
Meet Casper, a calm and gentle cat who brings an immediate sense of peace to any home. This handsome boy is a true couch potato at heart, finding his greatest joy in the simple things: a soft rug, a quiet afternoon, and the comfortable routine of his day. He's a wonderfully low-maintenance companion who knows how to relax, making him an easy and delightful addition to a tranquil household.
When it comes to new people, Casper is a seasoned observer. He won't run and hide, but he likes to sit back and watch from a distance to make sure you're worthy of his attention. Once you're in his inner circle, his affection is second to none. He'll show you his love with his signature move: rubbing his face against your leg for what he considers the ultimate "kitty kiss."
The ideal home for Casper is a serene, calm household where he can be the one and only pet. He's not comfortable with other animals and would much rather have all the love and attention to himself. He would thrive with an elderly guardian or anyone who can provide a quiet living space, like an apartment, where he can be an indoor-only cat with the option of safe outdoor access.
When he's not giving out his loving face rubs, Casper is dedicated to his favorite hobbies: sleeping on his rugs, enjoying his meals, and, of course, a little peace and quiet. His day is a relaxing cycle of eating and napping, with a special time set aside for cuddling up on the couch to watch TV with his favorite humans. He truly is the most easy-going and handsome companion.
Casper has been through a lot of change, with his previous guardian moving into aged care. Now, he's more than ready to find a secure, stable place to call his own. He deserves a kind guardian who will appreciate his gentle nature and let him enjoy his days filled with peaceful naps and plenty of love. When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s guardian—the person who knows them best!
From here, the guardian will be in touch to learn more about you and chat with you about their pet. It’s a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
If your home and lifestyle match the pet's needs, the next step will be arranging a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone is happy to proceed with a formal adoption.
Following the adoption, change of ownership paperwork will be completed, and proof of vaccination, microchipping, and desexing (if applicable, as indicated on the listing) will be provided.
All pets adopted through Home2Home will require an adoption contract to be signed and an adoption fee to be paid. The pet’s guardian will complete the adoption contract with you and provide a link to PetRescue’s secure payment portal for completing the adoption fee payment.
Home2Home currently operates a ‘pay what you choose’ system for cat adoption fees. This means that adopters will be able to choose an adoption fee amount that is suitable for them. All adoption fees are used to support PetRescue's life-saving programs, including Home2Home.
