About Dottie
If you’re after a dog to truly dote on, Dottie could be your girl. At 2 years old, her love language is hugs, being close & joining in on adventures.
Once she trusts you, she’ll become your loyal little shadow — always ready for a cuddle, a quiet moment by your side & outdoor adventures.
Dottie has had a somewhat sheltered start to life, so she’s still finding her paws in the big, wide world. She's adjusting beautifully to suburban living with her carer, blossoming with reassurance, praise, and daily mental stimulation and her favourite- bush walks/runs!
She needs a patient, experienced person to help her build confidence out in the world. A slow, steady approach suits her best. She’s still learning to walk calmly on lead, but she’s smart and eager to please — with consistency, she’ll get the hang of it quickly. Dottie already knows how to sit, lie down, and come when called, and she’s always keen to learn more.
She’s best matched with calm, confident, non-boisterous dogs. While she’s timid with rough play, she’ll begin to engage gently once she feels safe. She can be a little unsure around men, so will need some patience as she builds trust. Dottie is wonderful with older children.
She requires a large secure well-fenced yard and what she really wants is someone who will offer love, patience, and a sense of safety.
Once she knows she’s home, she’ll be your forever Doting Dottie — your gentle, loyal ride or die.
Dottie is located in VIC.

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
