Nature
Riddick is a big, beautiful boy who is as faithful and friendly as a dog. He likes to follow you around the home and chat with you as he goes. He is the sweetest kitty, and when you sit, he sits right next to you and keeps you company. Riddick is extra special because he doesn’t have a tail, as it was amputated after an injury.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
Although Riddick has been exposed to a dog and other cats, we think he will be most settled as the one and only bestie. After all, he is a lot of cat to love! Minus tail of course!

Riddick loves people - grown up people in particular. Little humans don’t appeal to him; they take too much attention away from him.

Likes / Dislikes
Riddick loves his food so much that he has to watch his waistline and follow a calorie-controlled diet.

He loves nothing more than just hanging out with his people - males and females alike. He loves to chat and tell you all about his day.

My PURR-fect home would be with someone who enjoys the company of a really faithful loving kitty. I would suit folk who are retired or home more often and can give me the time and love I deserve. I love the security of a calm predictable home. I know my soul mate is out there, could this be you?

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.

If you would like to apply to adopt Riddick please come and meet him at Petbarn Canning Vale this Saturday from 10am until 2pm. He will be ready to go home with the first suitable family.

Medical Notes: Riddick has epiphora which means an overflow of tears from the eyes. Normally, a thin film of tears is produced to lubricate the eyes and the excess fluid drains into the nasolacrimal ducts, or tear ducts, which are located in the corner of the eye next to the nose. The nasolacrimal ducts drain tears into the back of the nose and the throat. Epiphora is most commonly associated with insufficient drainage of the tear film from the eye. Most cats with epiphora will experience intermittent episodes throughout their life and it is likely that some degree of epiphora will persist despite all treatment efforts.

Before coming into our care, Riddick sustained an injury to his tail that resulted in amputation of most of his tail.
