Introducing the marvelous Apollo!

Apollo will be your new best friend. Every person who has had the pleasure of meeting Apollo always comments on her beautiful temperament, and frankly, we agree! This sweet, sweet girl is looking for lots of cuddles, long sniffy walks and most of all, a fetch partner.

Apollo has come from a loving home however, Apollo will need to learn some manners, she has minimal training except for ‘sit’ when food is present. She is a very calm, happy, clever girl. If you love being active, going adventuring and taking your pal with you, then Apollo is your girl.

If you’re someone who works away from home occasionally, you will want to think about her exercise and mental stimulation needs; as a working dog mix, Apollo has a lot of energy and we want to make sure that her instincts are being taken seriously!

Apollo has shown she is a calm, non-reactive girl in a lot of environments, however she has been a country gal her whole life, so the city can be pretty overwhelming! Her new family will have to bare this in mind when considering their application for Apollo. City living would be a big change, a change she could absolutely deal with but would need some slow, understanding introductions to new things.

Apollo lived with another female kelpie at her former house, she is a dog who is happy on her own and does not need company of her own kind, however she does get on with other calm, older dogs. Puppies and younger dogs than Apollo are not a good fit.
