Ruddy is a stunning German Shepherd, who has stolen the hearts of the staff here at the shelter. He can be a little shy at first, but once he warms up to you he will be sitting by your side, ready for pats and treats. Ruddy is looking for a cosy home to settle down and get all the love and attention he deserves.

Ruddy can be a little nervous when meeting new people so is looking for a forever family of secondary school aged children or adults who understand that sometimes this man just needs his space. Any children must be present for the meet and greet to ensure Ruddy is the best fit for everyone.

Ruddy doesn't mind the company of other canines so is suitable to go to a home with another dog pending a meet and greet here at the shelter first.

While he isn't the youngest dog at the shelter, Ruddy is still a very active boy who will need an adopter who can take him on his daily walks and give him all of the play time and enrichment he enjoys. If you're after a walking buddy, Ruddy is ready and waiting!
