Reef may have a tough-looking exterior, but underneath it all is a sweet, shy, and sensitive boy with a heart of gold. Shelter life has been a bit overwhelming for him, but with time and gentle care, his affectionate personality has slowly begun to shine.
Reef would love a calm and quiet home with low foot traffic, where he can take things at his own pace. Inexperienced adopters are welcome, though it's important to know he may revert to being a little fearful when first adjusting to a new environment. A dedicated launch room for the first 3-5 days, with plenty of cozy hiding spots, will help him feel secure. He would do best with older, respectful children aged 8 and up, though younger kids may be suitable if they are calm and gentle. Once Reef trusts you, he is incredibly sweet and affectionate-a true softie just waiting for the right person to see his gentle soul.
