Meet Waffles & Wanda – two adorable young explorers found on WA Day, now ready to start their next chapter!

Waffles and Wanda may not be siblings, but they’ve been bunking together in a loving foster home since being rescued on WA Day—which is how they got their deliciously West Aussie names!

Both are typical young kittens: curious, playful, and learning all about the world around them. Whether it’s chasing shadows, snuggling in cozy corners, or tumbling over each other in play, every day is an adventure.

Though they’re happy housemates, Waffles and Wanda are not bonded and can be adopted separately—so if you're looking to add a little spark to your home, one of them might be just the match you're after.

Because they’re in foster care, we’re learning more about their personalities each day. This helps us understand their needs and match them with homes where they’ll thrive.

4 THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE APPLYING:

1. Are you able to commit to providing a safe, clean, and comfortable home for the cat?

2. Do you have the financial resources to provide for the cat's basic needs such as food, litter, toys, and veterinary care?

3. Are you able to commit to spending time to socialise and train the cat?

4. Are you prepared to keep the cat indoors at all times? An INSIDE cat is a SAFE cat.

NOTES:
Adoption fee includes vet check, first vaccination*, flea and worm treatment, microchipping and sterilisation at a SAFE approved vet at 6 months of age.

*Kittens may require further vaccination(s) to complete the full vaccination course. This will be at the cost of the new owner and is not included in the adoption fee. 

I CAN FLY TO PERTH! 

Flying for a few hours is very important for animals in remote locations because it gives us the opportunity to be adopted. Talk to SAFE about flying me to you in Perth.
