Kissy

Meet Kissy, a sweet-natured feline with a gentle spirit. Despite her beginnings on the streets, she has developed a polite and graceful demeaner that makes her a joy to be around. Kissy's understated charm and affectionate purrs make her a wonderful companion for anyone seeking a low-maintenance and loving pet.

While Kissy isn't fond of being picked up, she communicates her affection in quieter ways, such enjoying a gentle cheek and ear scratch and being a quiet companion in the kitchen. Meal time are when she is her most affectionate, and she will wait for those scritches before she eats.

Her timid nature means she prefers to approach affection on her own terms, creating a bond built on mutual understanding and respect. Even with her timid nature, she craves these moments of love and will completely lean into every scratch with her full body and little 'merps' of appreciation, where you will be able to experience how soft and silky she is.

She is a perfect pet for someone who is a first time or experienced pet owner. She doesn't require alot of attention and is comfortable being on her own for hours. Though she isn't playful in company, you will be able to hear her playing on her own in private. Scratching boards and a couple toys to pap around is all she needs to keep herself entertained.

Kissy's Story:
Kissy was born on the streets as part of the Revesby Park colony. She was 1 of 3 young females. She had a kitten of her own and took in 3 others when their mother abandoned them. She would come up to strangers along the walk park for a scratch and some food and eventually brought the kittens along with her, keeping an eye on them when they were all fed.

When her and her kittens were taken in by our rescue she was very scared at first but never lost that sweetness or became aggressive. She has free reign at the rescue, but prefers to stay in quite dark places most of the time and will occasionally wander around with curiosity or to seek affection.
