Luna and her three babies Bear, Tig, and Zeb had been wandering the streets. Luna carefully kept her little ones hidden while she searched for a kind-hearted family to help care for them, though the family had no idea her babies even existed. Once Luna felt safe and secure, she revealed her hidden treasures and introduced them to her new guardians. Concerned about the dropping temperatures, the family reached out for help, knowing this little family needed warmth and shelter. Now, all four are in foster care with Cat People of Melbourne, they are all safe and sound, and ready to find their forever homes.

Tig is still a little reserved due to his stray beginnings, but he’s growing more comfortable with people. He enjoys pats and is warming up to cuddles at an incredibly fast pace.

Tig is the snuggliest of the three brothers, though he’ll make you earn his trust first. Once he feels at ease, you’ll be rewarded with the loudest purrs imaginable. His favorite game is playing with the wand toy, he loves to snatch it from his brothers and proudly carry it around in his mouth, refusing to let Bear or Zeb have a turn!

He would thrive in a home with a feline companion—whether it’s one of his brothers, Bear or Zeb, or a friendly, social cat of your own.

Tig is fed high quality food and has been wormed, flea treated, vaccinated, desexed and microchipped (microchip #956000017403314, source #RE101165). He is available for adoption right now!

To adopt from us you'll be required to have minimum an online meet & greet, a remote house check, show photo ID & proof of address, and fill out & sign an adoption contract.
Our animals are fully vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being advertised. They are evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and any known issues are communicated. NOT NEGOTIABLE CONDITIONS: indoor only/restrained to property & must be fed raw or vet prescription wet food.
We will communicate through every step of the process to ensure that the experience is excellent and your feline companion is the right fit. Read the contract for T&Cs for returns.
You must have residency in Australia to adopt from our group. If you are visiting or on a visa, talk to us about fostering instead!
