Nature
Claus is one of 3 surprise miracle kittens who survived despite their mother suffering a debilitating snake bite while pregnant, giving her temporary paralysis. All 3 kittens are healthy, friendly, playful, and very affectionate. The shyest of his litter, Claus is a quiet, relaxed, gentle soul and has developed a sweet and affectionate personality. Although playful when in the right mood, he mostly likes to sit back and watch, chill out, or focus on naptime.

His confidence has increased a lot and he would probably be the most confident with another cat/kitten/sibling. He loves to be picked up and cuddled, and will purr so loudly and delightedly. He can be cradled like a little baby and loves having his soft, fluffy tummy and chin rubbed when like this.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
Claus has met gentle and quiet small humans, and enjoyed playtime with them. He would likely be fine with them if they are slow and gentle to start, until he gets to know them.

He is very used to living with a large number of cats and gets along well with all different ages and personality types.

He has been around a small dog for a short period, so could likely get used to another dog with a careful and gentle introduction.

Likes / Dislikes
✅ Claus loves to nap beside windows, and will purr like a little engine when patted. He enjoys snuggling with his siblings or Mama. He enjoys watching TV, birds, and other outside life. He loves to chase wand toys and balls. He is a huge fan of naps.

❌ He dislikes loud noises, especially the vacuum cleaner, and sometimes will cry when left alone, although this should get less when he gets older.

My PURR-fect home would be with friendly, playful people who will shower me with attention, love, and entertainment - perhaps with another kitten or friendly cat.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.

Medical Notes: Claus had cat flu, which is a respiratory infection. He was treated for this and given the all clear by the vet.
