About Chip
Chip must be rehomed with another small/medium friendly, well-adjusted socially confident dog that enjoys being around pups and will be a good role model for Chip.
Not for interstate adoption, other than ACT
We estimate that Chip will grow to be between 8 and 11kgs at maturity, of course he may be a bit smaller or a bit bigger.
Profile and needs in a home
Introducing the charming Chip, a delightful pupstar ready to make your heart melt. Chip is one of the five adorable offspring of Schnitty, our lovely Jack Russell/Fox Terrier mix mumma bear. At just over 15 weeks old, Chip has been raised with care and love under Schnitty's guidance, and he's now ready to find his very own loving home.
Though we can't pinpoint his exact breeding, we know he's got the best of both worlds, with a blend of Jack Russell/Fox Terrier, and a dash of Staffordshire Terrier thrown into the mix. This little guy is sugar, spice, and everything nice, with a whole lot of adorable puppy antics to keep you entertained.
We have attached a photo of Chip's mumma Schnitty.
Full of cheeky curiosity and endless energy, Chip is the perfect companion for families looking to open their hearts and homes to a fun-loving pup. He's quick to learn boundaries, loves to push them in his cheeky style, and is always up for a snuggle on the couch, particularly while watching TV.
Living harmoniously with three small dogs and a cat, he is proof that with the right introduction and environment, pets can all be one happy family. By continuing his positive reinforcement training, his new family will ensure that he continues to be comfortable in a home with a dog savvy feline if his new family have one.
The first few months of Chip’s life are crucial for his development. We are committed to finding a new home that will need to be committed to providing him with a nurturing, patient, and supportive environment. With a focus on force-free, reward-based training methods, his new home will set him up for success and well-adjusted adulthood. We're seeking a family willing to work with a reward based and force free trainer to guide Chip's early months, ensuring he blossoms into a confident canine citizen.
Like all of our pups, Chip must have access inside at all times, be allowed to cuddle on the couch and sleep inside at night preferably near their new families to start with for the settling period.
As the Chip is only young and will need regular feeding, supervision and training, we are looking for a home where his new family are not away for long periods of time and one that will include Chip as much as possible in their lives.
If you're ready to welcome this sweet pup into your life and commit to providing a loving environment where Chip can grow and thrive, you may just find that Tater will complete your family. He's looking for a place where he can be part of the action, a true member of the family. Be prepared for endless loyalty, cuddles, and the rewarding experience of raising this exceptional pup.
If you would like to meet Chip, please MAKE SURE you also send us an some detail on yourself and the home you are able to provide including your, your dog and any other pets (if any), family members, lifestyle, exercise and mental stimulation you will provide, how often he would be alone, where he will have access in the home, where he would go if you went away and could not take him with you, ability to cover vet expenses, and confirmation that you agree to continue the important puppy training with one of our approved trainers so that we can see if you’re a good match.
