NOTE: You are unable to meet Max until/unless you have been notified that you are a successful applicant. An adoption cannot be approved unless you are able to come to the shelter to meet Max in person and bring any dogs you currently have with you.


What I need in my new home:
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• Further training with basic doggie manners
• To be allowed inside with my family and not left outside 24/7 with no interaction.
• I love other dogs especially females but I am very boiterous meeting other dogs which makes me too full on for most dogs, i will need to be an ONLY dog with the potential of having a female friend once i am settled into my new home.
• Secure Fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent)
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• Lots of love and attention
• I have previously lived with young children
• I have lots of energy so an active family is a must

My best features:
• Very playful
• Wiggle bum
• Highly food motivated
• I can sit, shake hands & lay down when asked
• I love attention and having snuggles with my humans
• I walk well on the lead considering my size and strength
• Happy to hang out with other friendly dogs
• I LOVE toys, playing fetch and a game of tug-o-war
• Exuberant & full of beans
• Housetrained and used to being allowed inside
. I show signs of recall

Where I need to improve / Training required
• I can be bouncy when excited - training with positive reinforcement should help this
