About Remi
Remi came to us via an emergency vet, so we don't have any history for her. She's about 10mths old, but is the size of a 4mo kitten. And softer than any kitten we've ever had. She has a sweet, curious disposition, but is very, very cautious.
It took us a period of patience for her to feel safe enough to come out from her hiding spots, with the temptation of food of course. This very, very smol girl is extremely food oriented. Dinner time is the only time we hear a pip out of her. And we literally mean a pip. Her meow is a tiny, sonic sound she emits. It's quite adorable. Just don't dilly dally with the food. LOL
She's 100% not a fan of being picked up, and may not ever be. After weeks of trust building, she will come up onto the bed and will even climb on us and make biscuits sometimes. But rarely stays for very long.
She loves to play, but mostly at night when she feels safest. And she's enjoyed the company of one of our resident cats, and plays with the other foster cat. So we think she'd be suitable as a second cat if you're cat is cool with other cats. Or adopted with another kitten that we could help you match with. But we don't think Remi would suit a home that needs a lot of affection from their pets as she's quite aloof a lot of the time.
Having kids in the home would probably be a deal breaker for her too, unless they're older and understand boundaries and trust building. These things have been crucial in our care of her these past couple of months while we emotionally rehab her to get her ready for a new home. She's such a delight though. We almost foster failed with this bebby.
