Freddie Purrcury came into care with Cat People of Melbourne from another rescue where he wasn’t coping. This sleek, leggy tuxedo boy was so shy he’d run and hide from people, but with patience and gentle care, he’s blossomed into a confident, affectionate young snugglebug. Now he’s making up for lost time with an endless supply of cuddles and purrs!

Freddie is a striking black and white tuxedo kitten with a sweet white face, black mask, and the cutest white tip on his tail. Sleek, leggy, and elegant, he lives up to his regal name—but when he’s on your lap, it’s all about the love. His foster carer calls him a "super snuggler" for good reason: he’s a biscuit-making, drool-dribbling, purring machine who melts into your arms and even enjoys being carried like a baby.

Freddie absolutely loves other cats and would thrive in a home with a friendly feline companion. He’s playful and entertaining, especially when he's kicking ping pong balls around in wild zoomie attacks. He’s still cautious with strangers and loud noises, so a calm household with patient people is ideal to help him continue building his confidence. Older children who understand his gentle, sensitive nature would be fine.

Once Freddie feels safe, he’ll show you just how wonderful he is—he’ll sleep under the covers with you on chilly nights and greet you with a loud motor every time you return. Freddie Purrcury is a healthy raw/high quality fed kitten who has been wormed, flea treated, vaccinated, desexed and microchipped (microchip #956000018841795, source #RE101165). He has a mild chronic runny eye, likely from previous cat flu, and is currently managed with l-lysine. Freddie must be an indoor-only cat. He is available for adoption right now!

To adopt from us you'll be required to have minimum an online meet & greet, a remote house check, show photo ID & proof of address, and fill out & sign an adoption contract.
Our animals are fully vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being advertised. They are evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and any known issues are communicated. NOT NEGOTIABLE CONDITIONS: indoor only/restrained to property & must be fed raw or vet prescription wet food.
We will communicate through every step of the process to ensure that the experience is excellent and your feline companion is the right fit. Read the contract for T&Cs for returns.
You must have residency in Australia to adopt from our group. If you are visiting or on a visa, talk to us about fostering instead!
