About JD
JD might be small, but his love is big! He is a really sweet and affectionate boy who just adores everyone he meets.
- He enjoys the company of other dogs during 🐶
- is gentle with kids 🥹
- wants to be everybody’s friend
- travels well in the car 🚙
- he’s house trained and uses the doggy door, although can require some encouragement to go outside to the toilet when it’s raining 🌧️
He sleeps quietly through the night in his bed, but would be more than happy to share a bed with his human as he does enjoy a cuddle.
JD is not a particularly high energy dog, he loves his daily walks / sniffari’s but is also happy to amuse himself playing with a toy, napping on a couch or laying in the sunshine.
Pleas note JD has experienced some anxiety and is currently on medication to manage this. However, he has thrived since being in foster care and is currently having his medication reduced.
He would be happy in a home with the company of another friendly dog, or would equally love to be your one and only and have all the attention to himself, so long as he is not regularly left alone for long periods of time.
This lovely, charismatic little man is waiting to meet you and steal your heart with his cute puppy dog eyes and waggy tail! 😍
Medical notes
JD experiences anxiety and is currently being managed with Trazadone & Fluoxetine
Adoption details
When someone contacts us to apply for an animal we will send an application form to be completed. When we receive a completed application form we will share this with the foster carer to approve the applicant.
We will then organise a meet & greet with the applicant and the foster carer to meet the animal, learn about their routine, behaviours and what they eat, drink, etc.
After the meet & greet the applicant is contacted to see if they want to proceed with the application and the foster carer approves the applicant.
We will then complete paperwork, payment, and organise a time to have the animal picked up.
Animals are then adopted on a 2 week trial, during which we stay in touch and provide support for the new adopter.
Once adopted we will send through vet records & paperwork and transfer their microchip.
We offer communication and support throughout the fostering & adoption process.
