Say hello to Tips, a one-year-old Staffy x Ridgeback with a big personality and an even bigger heart. This cheerful boy is full of energy, affection, and potential. Friendly and playful, Tips loves people and thrives on human attention - especially when treats are involved!

Tips is food-motivated and eager to learn, making him a great candidate for ongoing training and enrichment. He enjoys interactive games, so things such as puzzle feeders, tug toys, and scent work will keep his clever brain busy. Daily walks, training sessions, and structured playtime will help him stay balanced and happy.

While he can be a little boisterous in his excitement, Tips has shown positive social behaviour with select dogs during his time with us. He's displayed soft body language and a willingness to play with friendly, confident dogs. That said, given he arrived with a history involving dog conflict and moments of frustration, he's currently best suited as the only pet or with very careful, gradual introductions to other dogs.

Tips is looking for:

An active, dog-savvy home

Adults or older teens (due to his strength and energy)

A calm, structured environment with clear boundaries

Ongoing enrichment, positive reinforcement training, and companionship

He walks beautifully beside calm dogs and loves exploring new environments. With the right guidance, Tips will make an incredibly loving and loyal best friend.
