About Biscuit
Meet Biscuit, a 1-year-old Neapolitan Mastiff mix who's as beautiful inside as he is out. Born on 25 May 2024, he weighs 25 kgs and still has some growing to do.
Gentle and sociable, he would make a delightful addition to any home - a family with children, a couple or a singleton.
With his soft nature and eagerness to please, Biscuit is the kind of dog who forms deep bonds with those around him, ensuring a loving and loyal relationship for life.
In fact, you can see from the photos that Biscuit is highly focused on his handler, his foster Dad. He's showing an eagerness to learn and a keenness to respond to his foster Dad's cues and commands. This level of engagement in a young dog, straight from the pound, is remarkable and tells us that Biscuit will be a loyal and loving companion and an absolute dream to train.
Biscuit walks beautifully on a loose lead once he finds his rhythm, making outdoor adventures a pleasure. Take a look at the first and second video.
He's friendly with all dogs, whether big or small, and is well-mannered when meeting new canine pals. He's untested with cats, but given his exceptionally gentle temperament, we would expect him to offer the paw of friendship to an equally well-mannered feline.
His calm demeanor was on display on a recent visit to the markets. He was unfazed by the bustling environment and graciously accepted pats from the many dog lovers who stopped to say hello to him. He was equally unfazed by children running around, babies crying and bicycles zooming by.
Check out the first video of Biscuit's reaction to the noise at the markets. The word "bomb proof" comes to mind. Maybe he was a police horse in his last life?
Biscuit is a quiet boy, rarely barking, except to sound a single "woof" alert if someone enters his territory. He's protective but never aggressive, and would make a gentle but reassuring canine presence at your home.
If you're searching for a socially adept, peaceful, and affectionate canine, Biscuit would make a reliable and heartwarming member of your family.

Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
Biscuit was desexed on 20 May 2025.
He had part of his tail docked on 1 July. Our vet determined it was medically necessary to do because Biscuit repeatedly injured his tail. He is a serious tail wagger and kept whipping his tail against hard surfaces.
