Meet Mishka, a unique and beautiful blend of American Staffy and Mastiff, born on 8th September 2022. While her striking appearance at times suggests a serious demeanor, this chunky girl is truly a squishy love bug at heart. Mishka adores the company of people and thrives on companionship, making her an ideal pet for a family with older children.

Mishka is very social and has a particular fondness for canine companions, especially the guys! She loves to initiate playtime and is best suited to settings where she can burn off her energy in a safe, nurturing environment with tall, secure fencing.

Though her playful enthusiasm may lead her to jump up when excited, a gentle correction and guidance will help her channel her energy positively. Her eagerness and spirit make her an ideal companion for an active family who loves the outdoors and is committed to daily walks.

In new environments, Mishka is unfazed by the usual noises, displaying a calm and composed temperament. However, on a walk, the lure of an inviting scent can trigger her to pull on the lead. She responds well to guidance, but her future family should be prepared for gentle assertive handling.

Due to her uncertainty around feline companions, Mishka would thrive best in a home without cats.

This beautiful girl is located at our Charmhaven Shelter. Her $500 adoption fee covers microchipping, desexing, lifetime registration, current vaccination, flea and worming treatments 🐾
