About Sage - 4 Month Old Staffy X
Meet Sage! š±
Sage is the smallest of our āspiceā puppies and weighs in at just 4.9kg at 4 months old.
She is a HUGE cuddle bug and absolutely loves having a pat or playing with a tennis ball in the yard. Sheās already got the basics of fetch down pat! Like most puppies, Sage is loving getting to learn about the world, and is very inquisitive about her new surroundings. Be sure that she is taste testing everything!
Sage adores hanging out with her siblings and seems to have a teensy bit of separation anxiety when she's without her furry friends. So we would LOVE for her to have a doggy friend in the home. She also loves to run around in the yard with a ball, so would need an active home and a big yard to help her get her energy out. Sage is always up for a cuddle and will absolutely try and snuggle her way next to you on the couch.
Sage will need ongoing training for toileting, lead walking and basic commands. For this reason, she would benefit from an active family who can get her out and socialise her, as well as be committed to her training.
Sage needs secure fencing and a yard that is completely puppy proof! This means no under house access, no soft soil to get out under and no choke hazards lying around.

Her adoption fee is $800, which includes desexing when she is old enough. She is up to date on vaccinations, flea, tick and worm treatment.
She is located at Anna Bay, NSW. Since she is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. She'll need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing by 6 months old.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

(2) If the questionnaire is approved, we will arrange a property check so we
can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) Next, we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home or at a nearby park.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay the adoption fee*, sign the NSW change of ownership form and our DRN Adoption Agreement and take your new family member home! The two week trial period begins on the day of adoption.
*We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal
cheques.
